Hello! Welcome to KevinWorthington.com, I am your host, Kevin Worthington. This is my personal website, my primary location on the web.

I am a Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux user. I tend to use the right tool for the right job.

The iPhone is a great device, and no other smart phone currently comes close to it. I have some iPhone Quick Tips available, if you are interested.

I am also a huge fan of Gmail, and I have written a few articles discussing how to speed up Gmail and how to use its offline features, using Google Gears.

In the past I did some work porting Unix-like web servers to Windows – namely: Nginx and Lighttpd. I no longer provide Nginx for Windows builds, since they are provided in native format from the main project. As for Lighttpd, the WLMP Project now provides Windows builds of Lighttpd.

There is not a strict focus to my site, however technology seems to be the predominant focus, although current events and even politics show up here from time to time. Please feel free to explore the Archives to see what’s available.

I’m a 32 year old software engineer, systems administrator, applications specialist, Internet enthusiast, and website builder. I’m lucky to be married to an awesome girl named Trish. We now live back on our native Long Island (New York) after living in Hawaii for a year and a half.
